Lovesick

I’m infected,

I need a doctor

There’s something wrong

Why do I always get butterflies everytime someone says your name?

The way that syllable simply rolls off the tongue,

The way a raindrop rolls of a leaf

Everytime I look into your eyes my heart explodes

I’m in pieces,

And I wait for you to pick me up

I continuously get blinded by your beautiful smile

That makes even the stars seem dim,

That make fire flickering sparks if candlelight

You’re the only cure for this,

You’re the homemade remedy that would relieve me quickly and completely

All I need is you holding on,

And this infection,

Would just be like a tiny cold:

Every once in a while,

But never entirely
