The Friendless

We are the friendless:

The ones who watch the participants,

Endlessly win an everlasting game

We are the ones who enjoy our own company more than anyone else’s

Mostly because we don’t have anyone else’s

We are the freaks,

The quirky ones,

Who don’t have our own people,

Because to The Others,

These people don’t exist

We dread the times when we have to make our own choices,

Where we have to get into groups,

Where we have to be picked

Because we forever get abandoned,

And thrown in with the other leftovers,

Like pieces of waste

We just want someone who cares,

Someone who will always be there

Can you be that person?
