You Need to Stop

I said I was getting over you,

I thought I was on my way,

Taking the right directions,

Making perfect U- turns

Going forward,

But then at the end of the day,

Your eyes catch mine again,

Time stops,

The fuel burns out,

I’m going too fast,

Going the wrong way,

Only using one hand to control

And it crashes

My heart screams for you again,

It longs for you

I don’t know what you do,

But it needs to stop

Either speak to me,

Give me the benefit of the doubt,

Or let me drive on the right side again

Where’s the stop sign in all of this?
